There are many type of roles. They can be acted. Judged. Accepted. Finite. They are created through stereotypes, which can transform essentially and loose their original meaning by accidental mutation or conscious modification.

A role swap can avoke the forgotten past, the artist, in an unusual situation, can experience and revalue things, which have seemed to be unequivocal. The artist thinks, provokes, search for the sense of the inconceivable.

The International Biennial of Drawing and Graphical Arts is organized in every second year, with various topics, with open and free possibility for aprticipation. Its aim is demonstrating the techniques of drawing and graphics through art pieces, which are designed and made by the artist’s own hand.

The exhibited artworks are freehand drawings or they are made by traditional graphical techniques (cuts, etchings, mezzotints, serigraphies etc.). There are some handmade books or spatial installations, too.
