Hallucination not hallucination

18. September 2012. – 20. October
MegnyitóOpening: September 17, 2012, 8:00 pm
As the title suggests, the exhibition is built upon opposites, opposites which can be interpreted as the symbols of the artist’s inner conflicts. ’It’s strange, but I do not like being an artist any more.’

It is strange that someone who creates up to now says something like this. Who does not enjoy what he does, stops it (mainly, because he is privileged in a way that being an artist allows him to do anything, even to not ’function’ as an artist for a while). On the contrary, feLugossy seems to enjoy the process of creating.

He seems to be always on the verge of searching and longing for new experiences, which longing manifests itself this time in his fingers wrapped in with insulation stripes. Through creating and longing, the artist is being relieved from the average, and is being transmitted to a new dimension.

The objects were created specifically to this exhibition, which on purpose does not concentrate on paintings, but on installations, making up a special, sometimes strange mixture of photos, objects, texts and pictures.

feLugossy operates with the determining techniques he is used to – but still, it seems that „the hand which likes to touch the beloved thigs” is reaching for new objects.
