V\u00e1mh\u00e1z k\u00f6r\u00fat 11.<\/p>\r\n<p>Private view: 2022.09.02. 18.00<\/p>\r\n<p>In connection with the Ludwig Museum\u2019s international <a href=\"https:\/\/exindex.hu\/en\/event\/kiterjesztett-jelen-atmeneti-valosagok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exhibition<\/a> <em>Extended Present \u2013 Transient Realities.<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>Jeannette Christensen\u2019s installation for Budapest is not only site-specific but also \u201ctime-specific\u201d, although the latter term is hardly used in contemporary art. Her work <i>Every Day is a Miracle II<\/i> uses a completely banal, everyday material, jelly to create objects that appear as minimalist sculptures, which take on a \u201clife of their own\u201d due to the atmospheric characteristics of the exhibition space \u2013 a cellar.<\/p>\r\n<p>The biochemical processes that take place in the gel cause the installation to appear differently at almost every moment to the viewers, who cannot see the work in its \u201centirety\u201d, but only experience it in the time they spend at the exhibition.<\/p>\r\n<p>The installation, however, is the sum of all the moments that make up the process of decomposition and thus draw the viewer\u2019s attention to the temporality of the reception of the work.
