Kezdetben a debreceni Medgyessy Ferenc K\u00e9pz\u0151m\u0171v\u00e9szeti K\u00f6rben ismerkedett a m\u0171v\u00e9szettel, k\u00f6z\u00e9piskolai tanulm\u00e1nyait a K\u00e9pz\u0151- \u00e9s Iparm\u0171v\u00e9szeti Szakgimn\u00e1ziumban (Kisk\u00e9pz\u0151) v\u00e9gezte 1963\u20131967 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt.<\/p>\r\n<p>1971-ben telepedett le Szentendr\u00e9n, \u00e9ppen akkor, amikor sz\u00e1mos vele egykor\u00fa fiatal alkot\u00f3 tal\u00e1lt otthonra \u00e9s bar\u00e1ti alkot\u00f3k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gre a nagy m\u0171v\u00e9szi hagyom\u00e1nyokkal rendelkez\u0151 kisv\u00e1rosban. Aknay el\u0151sz\u00f6r 1971-ben, a <a href=\"https:\/\/exindex.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/4szszt.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IV. Szabadt\u00e9ri T\u00e1rlaton<\/a> \u00e1ll\u00edtott ki Szentendr\u00e9n, majd egy \u00e9vvel k\u00e9s\u0151bb, 1972-ben t\u00e1rsaival r\u00e9szt vett az autodidakta m\u0171v\u00e9szeket t\u00f6m\u00f6r\u00edt\u0151, kev\u00e9sb\u00e9 stil\u00e1ris, mint ink\u00e1bb nonkonformista szellemi k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gk\u00e9nt m\u0171k\u00f6d\u0151 Vajda Lajos St\u00fadi\u00f3 (VLS) megalap\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1ban.<\/p>\r\n<p>Az\u00f3ta nemcsak sz\u0171kebb otthona, Szentendre m\u0171v\u00e9szeti \u00e9s k\u00f6z\u00e9leti \u00e9let\u00e9nek akt\u00edv szervez\u0151je \u00e9s szerepl\u0151je volt, hanem orsz\u00e1gos \u00e9s region\u00e1lis szinten is meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3 tev\u00e9kenys\u00e9get folytatott: a Magyar Fest\u0151k T\u00e1rsas\u00e1ga tagja, a S\u00e1rospataki Ny\u00e1ri K\u00e9pz\u0151m\u0171v\u00e9szeti Szabadiskola tan\u00e1ra, a MAOE K\u00e9pz\u0151m\u0171v\u00e9szeti Szakoszt\u00e1ly\u00e1nak vezet\u0151s\u00e9gi tagja, majd eln\u00f6ke, a Hungart Egyes\u00fclet \u00e9s az NKA K\u00e9pz\u0151m\u0171v\u00e9szeti Koll\u00e9gium kurat\u00f3riumi tagja, valamint a Magyar M\u0171v\u00e9szeti Akad\u00e9mia rendes tagja volt.<\/p>\r\n<p>M\u0171v\u00e9szk\u00e9nt konzekvensen tartotta mag\u00e1t az 1974-ben megfogalmazott ars poetic\u00e1j\u00e1hoz:<br \/>\r\n\u201eEls\u0151sorban tiszta kompoz\u00edci\u00f3ra, szerkezetre t\u00f6rekszem a helyi hagyom\u00e1nyokhoz igazodva, \u00e9s csak ezen bel\u00fcl a sz\u00ednekre.
