A Ketten Bienn\u00e1l\u00e9 a FROKK seg\u00edts\u00e9g\u00e9vel val\u00f3sulhatott meg.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2019Us Two\u2019 Biennale is a new contemporary art initiative presented for the first time in Budapest. Its realization lacks any stipulation to enhance international relations, to adhere the location with tourism, or to intervene into the cityscape. Most probably, the event will not result in gentrification or trigger art market speculations, nor will it pay fees to anybody. In addition, it operates without any form of curatorial or
\r\n financial support; moreover, it will only be on view for three days with free entry.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Although the \u2019Us Two\u2019 Biennale is atypical in many aspects, it definitely deserves the distinguishing and much desired biennale title. On the one hand, for its compelling installation, that with its dimensions and conceptual content perfectly fits into the international style speaking the global language of contemporary art. On the other hand, for dealing with self- and social criticism through subversive, thought provoking issues that are so often mentioned as essential factors of biennials. And finally, for being in line with the current trend, \u2019Us Two\u2019 Biennale will take place in an abandoned school in the heart of the city, th headquarters of FROKK (Gipsy Education and Culture Center of Budapest).<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2019Us Two\u2019 Biennale is an immodest apparition, demonstrating that anyone can build a bridge between the inaccessible and the significant, the necessity for art and the expectations of its surroundings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
