This interactive map developed and hosted by ARTMargins Online reveals intellectual affinities between current art-focused periodicals published in the countries of Eastern Europe. The networks shown on the map reflect opinions and assessments collected from art critics, art historians and editors working in the region. The goal behind the map is to better understand the conditions of art writing and art publishing in Eastern Europe today.

ARTMargins Online convenes an online Roundtable on the state of art publishing in Eastern Europe in times of crisis, including the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine.
Date: Monday, May 3, 17.00-18.15 CEST – Register here.
Participants: Corina Apostol, Artleaks Gazette (LT); Gergely Nagy, A mű (HU); Lýdia Pribišová, Flash Art Czech & Slovak Edition (SLO), and Piotr Słodkowski, Miejsce (PL). The Roundtable will be moderated by Camilla Salvaneschi (Università Iuav di Venezia)
