Assen Station area public art commission

Call for applications for a €445k public art project in the new railway station area of Assen The Assen railway station area will completely change over the next few years. Early 2018 it will have a daring new railway station including its plaza, a motor traffic underpass and attractive red carpet leading to the city center. A extensive public art project is to be installed over three marking areas. Herewith please find its challenging conditions coming with the invitation to Dutch and international artists to send their portfolio’s for a first selection of four candidates who are then invited to deliver a sketch proposal for realization over 2016-2017.
