Kalypso / Utopos

In the web of environmental, economic and political influences, man is prone to either/or exclusivity, i.e. to dreaming or to subjecting himself to coercive, forced planning for the future. A common element in the artistic practice of Lili Agg and Eric Kressnig is that they think in terms of exclusive relations and play with exclusivity. The meeting of dualities (concept – intuition, plane – space, light – dark) is prominent in the works of both artists, in which dualities, in a practical sense, the states of transition are fixed, creating a new equilibrium.
