Attila Vécsy created collages, photo-objects, drew and painted on his photos, and made illusionary blue-hued images in the 1980s, a period called ‘New Wave’. In his work, he constantly crosses the borders between genres, creating his mixed-media images with a free use of media.
Whatever subject he touches on, he uses his images to make powerful statements and raise questions both about himself and the absurdity of the age.
The exhibition presents a series of works that emerge from experimentation and the experience of creative freedom from the 1980s to the present day.
