Generativity enables the use of mathematics and randomness. Any form of interactivity can be integrated without limitation, as digital displays do not restrict designers in creating dynamic content. The design process is equally accessible and optimized for both offline and online purposes. While programming languages are more challenging to learn than a meticulously developed user interface, independent visual software creation allows for modular and responsive interface design. Creative coding makes it possible for the outcome to authentically convey the visual artist’s individual needs, and as viewers, we may even shape it in real time.
The Algorythm symbolizes the errors that emerge through experimentation, which may then evolve into new, functioning solutions. The exhibition material has been compiled from the individual visual art concepts of the students of Máté Üveges’ course Processing – Creative Coding in Graphic Design.
