As the closing event of the 2024/25 Budapest Art Mentor Program, the group exhibition Explorers 7.0 – Testing Boundaries features 14 emerging visual artists who engage with the concept of boundaries as both a fundamental pattern of human experience and a defining aspect of artistic thinking. Their works explore, among other themes, the questions of internal and external limits, the constraints of the body, the experience of stepping out of one’s comfort zone, the thresholds of memory and forgetting, as well as the points of intersection between the transcendental and the physical world. Additionally, the exhibition raises questions about genre boundaries and the possibilities of interaction between the artwork, the viewer, and the artist.
