The main point of the Horizon propose interdisciplinary research directions regarding the types of connectivity present in the practice of invited artists, whose studies focus on the relationship with nature from the perspective of healing, in relation to the community or as the sole witness of an ecological reconstructive process.
Connectivity and a systemic approach in ecological art are not limited to representing nature or illustrating the beauty of the environment; they become means by which the artist relates to the entire network of relationships that support life. In this context, each element — whether a leaf, a soil particle, or the subtle vibration of flowing water — carries meanings that intertwine and influence one another. Ecological art that embraces connectivity does not see organisms as isolated entities but as points within a living system, where the action of one part reverberates throughout the whole.
