The installation takes its cue from a familiar situation in navigation: when we see the red dot on a map that indicates, “You are here.”
This marker functions not only as a physical reference point but also, in a figurative sense, as a mental and social one—yet at times it disappears or becomes hollow, falling apart.
As the viewer moves, the layers constantly rearrange themselves: the red dots appear and disappear.
Only approximations remain, imprints of memory that there once was a point.
