T R A N S f u s i o — Transference, influence, transformation, connection, union… The center gives birth to time and space; within it, its world comes into being. This world, however, not only carries its origin within itself but also reflects it back. It appears as the unification of a dual process: the transcendence of nature and the manifestation of fundamental meanings within the realm of nature. Consequently, ancient symbols collectively shape and form the multifaceted meaning that they must become in the language of sculpture. This message serves as the fundamental premise: the actualization of archaic knowledge in the spirit of a renewing tradition. It is a kind of non–modern approach, for although it speaks to modern man, it stands not in the spirit of modernity but of “hodiernitas.” This ensures the contemporary role of this conception of existence within art. It is not retrograde, and therefore not anachronistic. It is not forced to be innovative, and thus is not subject to the rush of time. Its validity is timeless. In this context, art is, by its very nature, a connector, a bridge, a bearer of a mission, and a messenger.

Trans–fusio is a restorative creative attitude that expresses itself through symbols and correspondences. As the hermetic language of alchemy describes it: this process is the Clavis Aurea — that is, the discovery of the keys of light and the opening of secret passageways. Passing through that inner gate that stands at the boundary between the sacred and the profane (spirit and matter). Taking stock of all that is enduring and all that is ephemeral and consumable in the present age — that is, the tension between these two extremes. As a process, it is the true art of proper discernment and separation. /solve et coagula/ This form of self-transcendence serves as a path toward a spiritual conceptuality — one that synthesizes across space and time. In this way, it corresponds with the archaic thematic elements of various sacred traditions. Naturally, there are conceptual overlaps among them, but no arbitrary mixtures. The art born of this renounces all formal ends in themselves and focuses solely on the sculptural unfolding of the idea that nourishes it. Visualizations, points of support, in which the awakening consciousness can find a home… Overall, this is an attempt to shape an integrative and personal creative approach, as well as a sculptural value system, against which people of the present day can hopefully meaningfully measure themselves.
