István Bodóczky (1943–2020) was a visual artist and art teacher, who is primarily known for his three-dimensional, asymmetrical, floating structures and his light, geometrically structured, color-sensitive, lyrical abstract paintings, created several conceptual works and, like most artists, also made plans and sketches for his larger works.

For the exhibition, we have selected plans, sketches, and models from his estate, and we are also presenting some of the artist’s finished works and documentation of his conceptual work. The selection covers the period from the 1970s to the 2010s.
