Márton Gresa (1993) debuts a new series of moulded paintings in his debut solo exhibition at acb Attachment. The artist’s latest works also reflect the digital visual and communication culture of our time, which has completely changed our perception of reality.
In addition to the visual elements, Gresa’s works also feature textual inscriptions: the English phrases, familiar from advertising, seem to be ironically constantly reading out their own meaning. Gresa’s many typographic games not only evoke the still optimistic golden age of digital aesthetics, but also create real visual patterns from tautological fragments of sentences.
