F.L.O.W is a photographic and spatial installation exploration of the personal Budapest archive of László Lugosi Lugo, a vision of Budapest as both visible and invisible. An eventful presentation and representation of the potential inherent in the photographs, bringing to the fore the photographic artist’s meaning-making and meaning-expression of Budapest in its totality, through the installation of light and shadow architecture in the church space, under the depth of photographic processes.
According to the curatorial concept, the individual photographic images on the one hand highlight and document, thus preserving the space and time of the events recorded, and on the other hand, the successive and simultaneous projection of the photographs blurs the concrete space-time, creating a larger one, a new paradigm, as it happens with the documents preserved in archives: they interact with each other towards a greater totality.
