The Spectrum of Ethereal

The exhibition aims to introduce new genres and medias of contemporary art to the Hungarian scene in which the invited three Dutch artists are very active. All three of the exhibitors are creating works based on hybrid practices in which they cross match and confront sculpture, object-based practices or even photography with installation art.

The cross paths of the artists’ implement lyrical, vulnerable and metaphysical constellations, which are inspired at the same time by contemporary design and by conceptual strategies based on found objects, or by the aesthetics of archives or wunderkammers which are pushed to the edge of psychedelia.

The space of Trafó Gallery this time will function as an expanded kaleidoscope, and the exhibited works of the three artists will constitute the crystal structure of this abstract device.
