23. June 2025. – 25. June
MegnyitóOpening: June 22, 2025, 6:00 pm

Gelato theory is a multi-sensory art project created by award-winning filmmaker Guy Livneh. The exhibition, open to all ages, consists of the artist’s glass paintings and installations and is based on an imaginary theory of time, best experienced by licking ice cream in the gallery space. The ice cream is provided by Guy Livneh.

Throughout his career, the artist has helped some of the world’s most famous filmmakers, from Werner Herzog to Patty Jenkins, to realise their dreams and visions. He has shot music videos for musicians and bands in a wide variety of genres, including Billy Idol, Queens of the Stone Age, Glen Campbell and Post Modern Jukebox, as well as Netflix documentaries on Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke and Bob Marley. He has worked as an adjunct professor at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and other prestigious film schools.

The first Gelato theory event took place in Los Angeles in collaboration with Crafted at the port of LA and Fatamorgana Gelato. The next stop of the world tour is Budapest, where Gelato theory will be presented on 22 June at 2B Gallery. The search for the best gelato in town is still on. The artist will be on site throughout the opening hours of the exhibition and will be happy to answer questions about art, theory and gelato. The exhibition is open from 2:22 pm to 10:22 pm on these days.
