The world of Maria Chilf is made from projections of the subconscious. Her
drawings and paintings have networks branching like trees or streams, but in
her works the elements of nature always have a touch of artificialness.
Her pictures process memories, while her objects and installations have
another, more critical attitude. This time she tells her life story with her peculiar
transposals.
The diverse material is filled with wallpaintings and unified with her delicate
but always cruel self-analysis.
A video installation of the limited environment of an elementary school on the
banks of Maros is also part of the exhibition.
