The unique pieces which will make up the exhibition have been selected and stigmatized by the designers by marking them in a provocative manner with Christian and Jewish symbols.
During this condemnation they nailed hundreds of holes and thousands of studs by hand in the precious furniture which are vernacular pieces deriving from the Carpathian-basin, 19th century.
Do we need to accept condemnation? Should we openly take on our religious identity? Can we have two identities at the same time? Or none at all? These questions are evoked by these works and these will stand at the heart of the round-table discussion as well.
