Melinda Soltész’s post-hipster manifesto is a call for peace and creation. What makes these objects interesting? Not because their creator is the world leader in inventing the whole creative-technological process. Not even because the form of the objects reveals the organicity of molten glass. What is really interesting and disconcerting is the constantly changing, reflecting and distorting surface of the objects’ streamlined surfaces, which transforms everything, condensing the space around it into a strange, flowing, new universe.

Her practice is at the interface of fine and applied arts, and her work has been exhibited in prestigious international exhibitions in Australia, Japan, the United States and elsewhere.
Her research focuses on the relationship between glass and interior design, while shaping her timeless object culture through a diversity of genres and knowledge of materials.
