The video installation “Memoscape” takes viewers on a journey where nature, memories, and digital technology converge.
At its core, this installation showcases a captivating collection of point clouds created from corals and sea rocks captured during various travels. Each piece is intimately tied to a personal story or memory, giving them their own unique character and significance. To immerse viewers fully, the visual experience is complemented by soundscapes generated from the sounds and snippets recorded during these journeys.
Kati Katona is a Budapest based multimedia artist. Her work is focused on generative and 3D animation, interactive installation art, and projection mapping. Most of Kati’s artworks are heavily inspired by the elements of nature, biomorphic structures, patterns and algorithms.
