Judit Horváth Lóczi and Eszter Palik’s exhibition Postafordultával (Postal Turn) revives this classic epistolary tradition, but with a radical change of medium: words are replaced by objects, sentences by assemblages. Their project is a visual discourse in which the exchange of letters provides only the framework, while the real communication takes place in the material.
The process is a slow-paced, meditative dialogue in which each work of art is a reflection or further consideration of the previous one.
