Jean-Luc Marion writes: “The question of painting is nothing other than the question of visibility, and therefore concerns everyone equally—it lies at the heart of our shared perception, that is, the problem of human perception itself.”

My engraved black wooden panels deal with vision and visibility. The color black, which absorbs light, can reveal it due to the structure of the engraving.
In the three rooms of the exhibition, I deal with visibility, the differences in perception, and the connections between nature and art.

The Almost Nothing series examines our problems with vision through the perception and perceptibility of different shades of black ink.

In the Dark Forest installation, the forest made up of drawing sheets simultaneously refers to the destruction of nature, the fundamental material of life, and the protective role of art, as these drawing sheets form a shell around the trees, reinforcing and thickening it.

The video and installation Black Sea, with its undulating water and timeless blackness, echoes the works in the first room from the Almost Nothing series, which deal with vision and perception, thus returning to the questions of painting and visibility.
