We observe various possibilities born from a failure in the light of our own resistance, but also in the light of our capacity to be reborn, in order to reinforce this capacity, to learn from it, and to become stronger afterwards.
The term “resilience”, used to describe the psychological attitude of a being after a serious trauma, is used in other human and social sciences as well. It seems that its definition also depends on the temporal sequence in which we decide to study it. It can be considered a process about to be implemented, already in place, or as a global result.
Claude Levi-Strauss, the famous ethnologist and sociologist explained it also with its role in play, by the resistance of a material and the technique in the birth of an artwork.
This project invited local guest participants to discuss these issues and to incorporate their input and views directly in the exhibition. Confirmed guest participants so far are: György Bánki psychiatrist, Balázs Berkovits sociologist, Ágnes Gagyi anthropologist, András Gerevich poet.
