State of Images

The exhibition presents an extensive part of the Polish film director, artist, experimental and animation filmmaker, Zbigniew Rybczynski ’s drawings, project plans and video works.

The exhibition is part of the Chance as strategy show presented by Open Structures Art Society (OSAS). The goal of this project is to present the immense opportunity of the use of coincidence in the constructive efforts of the visual arts of our days. The starting point of aleatoric arts that clarifies and adopts coincidence – similar to the scientific reasoning of the 20th century – is the realization that coincidence is an essential part of the artwork.
