The upcoming exhibition of Q Contemporary titled PATRON is the Christmas fair and exhibition of the Studio of Young Artists’ Association (FKSE). In 2020, on the 10th anniversary of the Patron exhibition and fair, the association was only able to organise an event in an online format due to the extraordinary conditions generated by the pandemic, consequently the celebration of the anniversary was unable to come to fruition.
In 2021 Q Contemporary – in an effort to support the Studio of Young Artists’ Association – celebrates together with the association within the framework of an institutional collaboration and houses its Patron exhibition and fair.
Featuring over 90 artists and 190 pieces of art, the exhibition and fair’s purpose is partly to provide an opportunity for young artists to exhibit and sell their works, as well as to offer access to affordable contemporary artworks for the public at large. Visitors of the fair will have the opportunity to engage with works from both upcoming and established artists. Moreover, Patron is also a charity fair since all purchases support the realisation of further events by the Studio of Young Artists’ Association and help its continuing work.
We are delighted that this year we can accommodate the event in the exhibition spaces of Q Contemporary, therefore providing a bigger space with the most art pieces exhibited so far by the association presenting its Patron 2021.
