During my solo exhibitions, I always try to mix and exhibit works that have never been shown in the same place before. The Hungarian Workshop Gallery is a defining place, an opportunity for me to close a period of my creative work and to “spark” new ideas to be visually represented.
For some time now, I have been exploring my own projections recorded in objects and I am delighted that, although I work with a wide variety of materials, techniques and genres, I spontaneously discover a dialogue of artistic ideas when I extract my works from my private creative timeline (2000-2024). I have several “creations” endowed with spirit and soul, which I keep or they keep us in our farmhouse. Only those who have visited us in the Viharsarka, our island of existence on the outskirts of Békéscsaba, have been able to meet them in person.
These works are of an experimental nature, while I am clearing rubbish, on a trip to the MÉH site or chopping wood, I come across worn pieces of former agricultural machinery, furniture, parts, drawers, doors, boards. During the preparation of food, salmon packaging materials that speak to me, and I help them to come to life, to become “art treasures”. This is one of the supporting pillars of the material I present.
The other “column” is made up of traditional (acrylic, oil, canvas) panel paintings that have not been exhibited anywhere or in Budapest, this “column” is supported by a “war-worn” brick sculpture and the legendary: BMZ+TSZ: The Grail”.
The third pillar of our triptych is the visual documentation (Attila Molnár Világosi) of Emesis – Purification III VMA, performed at the opening of the exhibition “Degenerate Art II” on 14 March 2024 at the Godot Gallery in Budapest, and the object created from the object memory of the performance.
