The installation, made of air-inflated survival foil, carries the symbolism of survival and air as one of the most important vital elements. This work relates vulnerability to the concept of protection, while the use of air adds a new dimension to the themes of existence and passing. The installation explores elements of survival and existence, focusing on the relationship between human vulnerability and natural resources.

The survivor foil is a symbol of the fragility and vulnerability of modern society, while also expressing human ingenuity and the desire for shelter. This material, often used to protect refugees and disaster survivors, is meant to refer to both the vulnerability of the individual and the minimum safety it requires.

This contrast is the focus of my installation: the need to escape and survive, and the air of the environment as an essential element for life.

Air, as a fundamental source of survival, not only embodies the relationship between nature and man, but also becomes a symbol of the invisible support that sustains all life. The inflated survival foil not only provides protection but also reflects the invisible presence of air, without which life would be impossible. Through my installation I aim to make the invisible visible, sensitising the audience to the fragility and vulnerability of our existence.

The subtle movements and changes in shape of the foil are shaped by circumstances, its rustling evoking the idea of the sea, representing the variability of life, the different stages in the process of existence and survival.
