MegnyitjaRemarks by: Rátóti Zoltán

This year, for the fourth time, visitors can view the works of MMA art scholarship recipients in the sixth-floor exhibition halls. The exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the work of scholarship recipients who graduated in 2025. The works are arranged along exciting analogies and reflect on each other. Visitors can get a unique cross-section of the progressive, contemporary approach of Hungarian artists. Geometric, lyrical, abstract endeavors and figurative, realistic, or surreal works, as well as collage-like compositions, are all part of the contemporary approach to fine arts, and thus also part of the exhibition. In addition to subjective documentary photo series created in specific life situations through artistic intuition, visitors can also see the works of designers and architects, which represent a refined simplicity stemming from a nature-oriented, sustainability-based approach and pure functionality. The works of folk artists are characterized by the preservation of tradition through renewal, with a contemporary attitude but deep roots.

The exhibition, curated by Tibor Iski Kocsis, Judit Józsa, and Bálint Szalai, explores the world of micro and macro narratives created in various artistic fields, which engage in dialogue with each other and with the viewer.
