I am looking for the simplicity of the sensual radiance of color.
Color carries a lot of content.
The Images are subjective metaphysical spaces:
they are made up of transcendent, wafer-thin gradients and strong contrasts of intense colors.
Visual attempts to show the contradictions that occupy me.
The color movements, transformations, and the simplified image space in the paintings mean
the duality of movement and permanence.
Images are structured methodically and at the same time instinctively.
The many layers of paint are applied rhythmically to the canvas with a ritual brush movement.
Compared to my previous pictures, now more visible and characterful.
The myriad mixed shades are experienced as movement up close.
Stepping back can give you a sense of unity and permanence and focus of attention.
The pictures in the exhibition have been painted during 2021-2022.
