Aviva Life Insurance Company and Mucsarnok have established a unique award for contemporary visual artists, with the intention of enhancing the standing and popularity of contemporary art.
Dedicated to the creation of value and long-term approaches both in its services and philosophy, Aviva has decided to found an award to acknowledge the work of young – under 40 – artists with an exceptional prize of 5 million forints.
This exhibition features the first nominees, who were proposed by the six jury members in May. The winner of the award will be revealed at the end of the show, when a 500,000 forint popular prize will also be conferred.
