The Hungarian Academy of Arts (MMA) considers it a priority to honour, support and encourage Hungarian artists, so each year each section awards two prizes to the most outstanding representatives of their artistic field, four scholarships to the middle generation and two lifetime achievement awards to the most outstanding artists of the older generation.
In 2021-2022, the Chamber awarded the MMA Artists-in-Residence Art Fellowships to Csilla Babinszky, Mariann Imre, Zoltán Katona and Norbert Kotormán, the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021 to László Csorba Simon Simon, artist and Zoltán Vécsi Nagy, art historian, and Art Fellowships to Alajos Eszik and Péter Rónai.
