Levente Leitner invites the audience to dinner theatre before the seasonally appropriate festive feast begins. The plot, condensed into a single cut, reveals the misdirection of family dinners, the gaps between generations and life paths into which we can fall after the aperitif.

His ironic, grotesque sculptures evoke the hardships of grandparents preserved in anecdotes, the bickering of parents over the soup, the awkwardness of the fast-drinking uncle of high society, and the unnoticed mischief of the child sent away from the table.

The scenes, written without figures, are about dysfunctionality, the absurdity of the soul withering away as the body is nourished, despite the holistic pathos surrounding the shared meal. The conflicts around the table are as much a commentary on human relations as they are on our food culture.
