In the fall of 2019, a wave of demonstrations that shocked the entire world press swept through the city of Hong Kong. The events of these few months were witnessed by three students from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, who were studying in the city on a scholarship during this period of time. They assembled their photos and experiences in the form of an art book, which we are now presenting in an exhibition.
The book’s content is multidisciplinary documentation designed to present the experiences and memories of the students involved in the events. They complemented this with their own graphic solutions and visual language, thus creating a joint, extended work of art.
