In each of our studios there is a spoilt or unfinished work that we have not found worth exhibiting because it does not fit into the overall picture, or because we have incorporated the idea we were waiting to develop into another work. From the artist’s point of view, it does not fit into his work, but in this type of exhibition he is happy to expose the black sheep of the studio, with some explanation. Thus, alongside the works, one can read a justification by the artists, or see a reproduction of a work created in parallel or subsequently, based on the problematic of this work, which is now considered a success.
