Another Hungary

Imre Bukta is a Hungarian artist with a most distinctly recognizable style. His major solo exhibition in Budapest focuses on the world of rural people, mostly disadvantaged, often humiliated and crippled.

Besides the most influential pieces of his oeuvre, the exhibition includes several artworks specifically made for the spaces of Kunsthalle.
