The exhibition examines current cultural-political circumstances through retrofuturistic images. A bunker or shelter provides protection for those living there — whether temporarily or permanently — during times of war or natural disaster. Due to its cramped spaces, modest comfort, lack of natural light, and other similar characteristics, it is an unpleasant environment — even if, under the given circumstances, it represents safety and survival. The exhibition presents portraits of the 50 most influential people from the local contemporary art field selected by Műértő magazine — cast in concrete. Artists, curators, critics, gallery owners, museum directors, collectors, and cultural policymakers — all preserved for eternity from a field that has undergone tremendous changes even in the last few years.
