Midras and image

The Midrash literature provides written commentary for the Bible. An abundance of texts in the past 2500 years, follows the legends and morals of the Bible.

In the opening of this exhibition a presentation of the Midrash Tanhuma will be given, published by the Scolar Publishing House.

The large number of paintings on the walls of the exhibition hall represents a variety of forms emerging from the midrash literature, also creating dialogues among the forms of the Hebrew letters.
