Parallels and intersections

I like to research and learn new things. I like mixing things up, which can open up exciting and new possibilities in object creation. I have been experimenting with digital tools for several years, primarily exploring how these modern tools can be integrated into the traditional porcelain making process.

The experience of using digital tools is important for me, so that I can follow the work processes in detail and then, inspired by these processes, extract the motifs that define me and combine them with the working methods of traditional object making.

Up to now I have concentrated mainly on form and surface shaping, but now I have focused on a different area – the graphic patterns on the surface of objects. I will present the latest results of this experimental work in my solo exhibition, which will mainly consist of works made within the framework of the Újbuda Mecénás scholarship, but also some further developed pieces from the International Ceramics Studio symposium and the MMA scholarship period.

The motifs of the objects in the exhibition cover several themes. It deals with the symbols of life and eternal life, there are motifs of water – rain – storm, but also the reflection of obscurity – as a shadow / projection of “ourselves” – in a figurative form…
