The exhibition presents side by side the earlier objects – among them the „stretched” objects –, the drawings and the more recent performances and actions, which were realized in public spaces. In these actions, dreaming and thinking about overpopulation means not only reflecting on a source of political and economic tension, but is also evoking positive symbols of fertility and femininity.
With all her works, actions and videos, the sensitivity and assurance of the artist and the woman, Róza El-Hassan stands up for pacifism and antiracism, condemns exclusion and oppression.
The estate of Toma Sík, anarcho-pacifist activist, vegan conservationist and humanist who died in 2004, is an integral part of the exhibition. We remember the member of the Gush Shalom and the Alba Kör with the help of his protest signs, montages, collages and slogans, which promote the philosophy of „Hanemszép” and love.
