How is the post-socialist city made?

The process is messy and messy, we recommend you experiment with it in the summer kitchen! (In the meantime, feel free to personalise it, everyone does it.)

Take a big piece of waxed canvas and a big(?) city in central(?) eastern(?) Europe(?)!

Prepare a suitable sized enamel pot, measure 45 years from 1944, then if you can still manage it, add 34 more, strictly while stirring. (Your kitchen scale should then read 2023. If not, repeat the process.) Pour in as much water as you can keep on the surface. Leave to simmer over a low heat.

Taste for seasoning, salt, pepper to taste.

When sufficiently tender, depending on your memories, taste and interest, try to divide it into the size you think will be pleasant to work with. (Don’t expect a well-defined end result, but rather a slightly problematic mass of constant interdependence, broken into smaller pieces for practicality only.)

Rest. But not for too long, it may crumble on you.

On the already prepared waxed canvas, place the dusted mass and start to pull it gently towards the edges of the table, so that it is of even thickness. It depends on the quality of the materials, but cracks, tears, splits and splits will occur. (Don’t) blame yourself!
The filling is up to you – it can be salty, sweet, bitter. So many houses, so many customs. Go in the oven!

Serve it fresh, in the right tone and only give it to who you think deserves it! Cheers!
