Making the invisible visible is a recurring question in photographic practice. How does becoming acquainted with an unfamiliar phenomenon interact with the challenge of capturing something familiar?
The exhibiting photographers approach the familiar and the unknown from different perspectives. The viewer can gain insight into physical or mental spaces that are hidden and intimate in everyday life. Going beyond the typical showcase of new members, this exhibition guides us into spaces that are less explored.
The exhibition offers an exercise in attention, in which the visitor can reassess these situations. Through different perspectives and approaches, the exhibition invites us to look at parts of the world around us that often remain unnoticed or unfamiliar.
