MegnyitóOpening: October 30, 2025, 6:00 pm
KurátorCurator: Muskovics Gyula

Sinners is the first solo exhibition in Hungary by Karol Radziszewski, known as one of the most important figures in Eastern European queer art. Created in collaboration between the Polish artist and curator Gyula Muskovics, the exhibition offers insight into Budapest’s queer past and present. The paintings, photographs, and archival materials on display evoke individuals and stories that transcend society’s heteronormative frameworks and are therefore still considered “sinful” in the eyes of some.

As part of the exhibition, the 15th issue of DIK Fagazine, the queer magazine that Radziszewski has been running for twenty years, will also be published. Previous issues have featured the queer and gay culture of Central and Eastern European cities such as Warsaw, Bucharest, Minsk, Kiev, and Vienna. The Budapest issue begins with the art of the turn of the century and spans the underground clubs and secret meeting places of the 1980s, as well as the emergence of LGBTQ+ activism during the transition to democracy, up to the present day.
