Sándor Győrffy painter, graphic artist, self-taught artist. He is a senior member of the Studio Association of Young Artists, the Lajos Vajda Studio and the Hungarian Graphic Artists Association. Co-founder of the artist group ART-EL, active from 1979-1984.
He has been active in the visual arts since 1975. He has been making prints and photographs since 1981. He also participates in performance art and is a well-known mail-art artist. In the late 1980s he painted expressive figurative paintings.
This exhibition presents a selection of screenprints from his graphic art collection, which Győrffy had printed for his distinguished graphic artist colleagues at the Váci Graphic Workshop.
