Bag collection

As a craftsman, I have been amazed at the variety of shapes, materials and colours that have been used in the surviving women’s handbags over the past 180 years. The function of the different handbags and the solutions to the formal connections fascinate me. They encouraged me to buy the bags with a professional and aesthetic eye. It is not a passion for collecting, but the goal is to write a short book on the history of bags and to include the most important basic pieces of my bag collection. In the collection I have placed emphasis on chronological order. At the same time, I considered it important to present the Hungarian bag designers and craftsmen who were and are still active from the 1910s to the present day.
