For the third year now, we are organizing the exhibition of graduates of the Photography MA program in cooperation with the MOME and Capa Center. Young photographers embarking on their professional careers spend four semesters in training, focusing on issues of personal interest. The artworks therefore often include questions of identity – life stories affected by internal and external influences – and memory – the chronographies that emerge from personal stories – as well as global issues affecting humanity as a whole. Trying to navigate through the complex web of individual life situations, personal and social relationships is often a huge challenge. The works presented often depict difficult life situations, offering the possibility of identification, empathy and recognition of problems, while at the same time not neglecting playfulness and expressing artistic freedom. The series in the exhibition represent a wide range of tools, styles and installation methods in contemporary photography, all reflecting the of the themes addressed.
Exhibiting artists: Elsa Berrien, Anna Gajewszky, Lilla Ilona Sipos, Hunor Tóth, Anna Viktória Pál, Domonkos Tas Varga
