There was also an earlier period when some unusually enlarged detail, such as a human eye, filled the entire picture field – her work is well known for this; a representative group exhibition at the Ludwig Museum has a Kovács Lola stamp on the wall until mid-March.
Throughout her career, she has occasionally worked in other media besides painting: installation, embroidery, photography, drawing… Like most really good artists, she is always looking and always seems to find. In a new phase of his career, he not only exhibits what he has fully developed, but also dares to show the beginning of the journey.
