In Marosi’s art, the dialogue between reality, memory, dream and imagination creates surreal spaces in which a subjective experience of space replaces a unified perception of space.
Colours and shapes refer simultaneously to phenomena of the visual world, personal memories and emblematic objects of collective visual memory, while the suggestion of hidden symbols opens the door to new layers of interpretation.
Paintings that previously depicted mainly interiors now lead the eye towards expansive landscapes, so that interior and exterior, above and below, imagination and reality are equally mixed in the artist’s characterful paintings, painted in intense colours.
The exhibition features a selection of paintings and watercolours by the young artist from the past year.
